#7 Sales and Marketing Seminars, Pure Hype?

The Hidden Power of Attending Seminars (see pictures)
For the longest time I thought seminars were a pointless waste of time, after all you can find almost anything on the internet, pay for it if you have to, and read it, watch it or listen to it.
But I later found out that the only foolish thing about them was not going to events and getting involved.
If you look at the most successful people in any line of business, but especially internet marketing, you will find a common denominator.
They all have a large network of friends in related industries.
I recently attended the World Internet Main Event put on by Mike Filsaime, Brett McFall, Donna Fox, Tom Hua and Paulie Sabol. I had a great time to say the least. I met well over 30 people at the event including John Reese, Mike Filsaime, Frank Bauer, Alex Jeffreys, Brian Edmondson, Paulie Soebol, Bob the Teacher, Vin Montello and many more.
I had a chance to witness a stage hypnosis show put on by Dr. Scott from the Riviera in Las Vegas. I was rolling on the floor laughing for nearly 2 hours straight as I watched respected marketers make total fools of themselves.
The biggest thing is what I took away on the outside during the seminar. Sure I picked up a few gems from the actual speakers, but the relationships I built during the breaks (and during some speaking sessions too) are already starting to pay off in ways you couldn’t imagine.
The Big Seminar Lesson is this…
Without stepping out of your comfort zone and flying around the country, or world, your chances of meeting key people to help develop your business becomes very slim.
I took off 5 days of my life but made friendships and business friends that will last me a lifetime.
I want to tell you about 2 of the great people I met and the little known systems they are using to generate both massive traffic and huge lists.
Alex Jeffreys quit his job when he was only 23 and creates massive lists from the worldwide traffic visiting ebay. I had a chance to review his product recently and was blown away by the concepts he lays out for you. Most people are selling there extra junk on ebay trying to turn a profit. Alex shows you the smart way to make money and build an enormous list almost entirely on autopilot. Once his system is set up you can expect your list to grow by hundreds of subscribers each and every month.
One of the other well-known list builders I met was Glen Hopkins. He is currently running a huge discount on his Lucrative List Secrets Listbuilding system. If you’ve never read it before it comes highly recommended from me.
Here’s why…
Glen takes you from point zero even if it’s your first day online and holds your hand step-by-step through the most effective methods to building a highly responsive list for any online business. He covers in depth the top methods that every top internet marketer uses to increase sales and build a cash producing list.
I have reviewed hundreds of systems. No Kidding! and there are only a few that actually cover everything you need to know. Glen even includes the one secret that could save you years of working aimlessly online. This one secret alone is worth 10 times the price of the package!
…so get your Butt to a seminar near you!

Hey Jae, I love that picture of you and George Bush!
You’re right, seminar are profitable. Every single friend I have in this industry I met at a seminar, or through Paulie, who met them at a seminar
Going to an event does cost money. There’s the flight, hotel, meals, drinks.. and the continuing education that I always make a point to purchase when I’m there (good karma and I have an impressive IM library).
But the JVs, partnerships and friendships I’ve created over the years have far outweighed the out of pocket costs, both financially and personally. That’s a return on investment (ROI) that lasts a lifetime.

Thanks for the comment. BTW Great job singing at the hypnotists show:-)
You were one of the few people I didn’t get to meet that I wanted to. But I guess we met (so to speak) here. I look forward to seeing you at a future Seminar:-)
Keep in Touch and Let me know if there is anything I can help you do to promote the next seminar you put on.
