For the longest time I thought seminars were a pointless waste of time, after all you can find almost anything on the internet, pay for it if you have to, and read it, watch it or listen to it.
But I later found out that the only foolish thing about them was not going to events and getting involved.
If you look at the most successful people in any line of business, but especially internet marketing, you will find a common denominator.
They all have a large network of friends in related industries.
I recently attended the World Internet Main Event put on by Mike Filsaime, Brett McFall, Donna Fox, Tom Hua and Paulie Sabol. I had a great time to say the least. I met well over 30 people at the event including John Reese, Mike Filsaime, Frank Bauer, Alex Jeffreys, Brian Edmondson, Paulie Soebol, Bob the Teacher, Vin Montello and many more.
I had a chance to witness a stage hypnosis show put on by Dr. Scott from the Riviera in Las Vegas. I was rolling on the floor laughing for nearly 2 hours straight as I watched respected marketers make total fools of themselves.
The biggest thing is what I took away on the outside during the seminar. Sure I picked up a few gems from the actual speakers, but the relationships I built during the breaks (and during some speaking sessions too) are already starting to pay off in ways you couldn’t imagine.
